‘A Felted Vessel – introduction to 3D wet felting’

Description

In this half day introduction to making 3D forms using the wet felting method, you will learn how to form a vessel which could be suitable for a small flower vase /pot or even a container for pens & pencils.

The design can be entirely up to you, from a natural organic inspired style to a more sophisticated bright pot of bold colours….it is up to you. You will also be adding small embellishments to your pot to decorate it further.

  • Materials included in class fee

Equipment

  • Old clothes and an apron as you will be working with wet felt and therefore protecting clothes from water is important.
  • A general sewing box to include small sewing scissors, fabric shears, pins and needles.
  • Optional: A small fish paste jar which is used to go inside your finished vessel if you wish to use it as a vase.

3 Hours – £25 plus material cost

The maximum number of attendees for this workshop is 8

Places on workshops are secured by a £10 cash deposit at the time of booking and balance payable on the day direct to the workshop leader.
