Beginners Sewing – Make an Apron


A class for the true beginner to sewing; get to know your way around a sewing machine. Learn how to stitch construction lines, turn hems and create a patch pocket to make your very own craft or gardening apron to take away with you.

Level of Experience

This class is suitable for the beginner.

Materials / Equipment required by Attendees

Price includes equipment and sewing machine, thread and pre-cut fabric for your apron.
You may wish to bring along a basic sewing box which includes small sewing scissors, fabric shears, pins, needle and cotton, but if you do not have any of these the studio can provide this for you.

The tutor can advise you of some basic equipment that you could consider for future sewing projects.

Places on workshops are secured by a £10 cash deposit at the time of booking and balance payable on the day direct to the workshop leader.
