Description

Learn how to make a ‘Camden’ basket in green batiks which will definitely be handy for studio storage.

A great workshop project for using up cotton oddments and bag handles can be added where desired.

Note : There is a lot of cutting involved with this project and doing this in advance of the workshop will make best use of the workshop time.

Level of Experience

This workshop is suitable for all levels

Materials / Equipment required by Attendees

Materials :

  • 44 x 11″ x 2.5″ strips of cotton fabric
  • 44 x 11″ x 21/4″ 80/20 wadding strips
  • 25cm of additional fabric for the base
  • 25cm of additional cotton fabric for the binding

Equipment :

  • Rotary cutter and mat
  • Cotton machine thread
  • Quilting pins
  • 505 temporary spray
  • Sewing machine with a quilting needle and presser foot with clear visibility

If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.
