Description

In this one day workshop you will make this handy Tote Bag with useful pockets in fabrics of your choice.

This bag uses both machine and hand stitching.

It comes with a zipper and bound pocket and is cushioned using fusible wadding.

Level of Experience

This class is suitable for all levels.

Materials / Equipment required by Attendees

Materials : 

(based on 44” / 110cm width)

  • Front Pocket 30cm
  • Bag Main Fabric 60cm
  • Base 15cm
  • Lining 60cm
  • Straps and Binding 15cm
  • 110cm Bundfix (waistband interfacing)
  • 80cm Fusible Wadding
  • 6” Co-ordinating zip
  • Thread
  • Small piece co-ordinating ribbon

Equipment :

  • Basic Sewing kit (scissors, pencil, ruler, pins, needles)
  • Sewing Machine (a zipper foot will be required)

If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.
