Introduction to Arm Knitting

Introduction to Arm Knitting

Description

Arm knitting is the fabulous technique of knitting with your arms without the use of needles. Simply, cast the first stitch onto one forearm, then use your hands to work through the stitches by pulling the working yarn through the loop to create a stitch. Place the new stitch on the other arm and repeat on the opposite side. Easy!

You will learn how to cast on, knit rows and cast off and join the ends together to create a snood.

Included in the workshop fee is one ball of James Brett ‘Big Stuff’ yarn (in a colour of your choosing).
Come and have a go, it’s a lot of fun and you will leave with a completed item.

Level of Experience

Suitable for all abilities from those who have never knitted before to the expert knitter. Also great if you now struggle using needles due to arthritis or another medical complaint.
