Fabric, wool and haberdashery
In this one day workshop you will make a patchwork cushion using the Log Cabin design with a button fastened back and using a sewing machine.
In making the Log Cabin Design Block you will learn some basic techniques of patchwork from correctly cutting your fabrics, constructing blocks, correct seaming and joints then assembling them together to make a patchwork panel.
As an option you can also quilt your panel before making it into the cushion.
It is finished with binding, a skill that you can go on to use in many different applications.
