Fabric, wool and haberdashery
In this one day workshop you will make a patchwork cushion with button fastened back using a sewing machine.
In making the Morning Star Design Block you will learn some basic techniques of patchwork from correctly cutting your fabrics, constructing a block using squares and ‘half square triangles’ and assembling them together to make a patchwork panel.
As an option you can also quilt your panel before using it to make into the cushion.
It is finished with binding, a skill that you can go on to use in many different applications.
