In this series of 2 classes, you will learn how to make a simple Roman Blind.

You will be shown how to plan and assemble it and will cover all the tools and techniques required to produce a finished product you will be proud of.

For this class, we recommend that the blind be no more than standard fabric width.

Materials / Equipment required by Attendees

  • Fabric
  • Lining
  • Blind Tape
  • Cord
  • Rods
  • Velcro
  • Cleat


  • Basic Sewing kit (scissors, pencil, ruler, pins, needles)
  • Sewing Machine
  • If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.

A wooden Batten is also required
