Description

In three evenings, Gary will teach you how to make your very own trousers for the coming spring and summer season.
Choose from 3 selected simplicity patterns for either a soft tailored look, a casual summer trouser or a more loose palazzo style which you can dress up or down.

Level of Experience

This class is suitable for the beginner in garment construction or those who would like to brush up on their sewing skills. Those attending would be expected to have a basic knowledge in operating a sewing machine.

Materials / Equipment required by Attendees

Materials

  • Simplicity patterns code number 8744 or 8457 or S8841 within your size range (as per measurement instructions on the reverse of the pattern)
  • suitable length of fabric
  • threads
  • a concealed zip
  • and any other haberdashery as required by the pattern.

Equipment

  • a general sewing box containing dress making pins, scissors, needles and snips (if you don’t have any
    of this the teaching studio has some equipment you can borrow)
  • Sewing Machine

If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.

Places on workshops are secured by a £10 cash deposit at the time of booking and balance payable on the day direct to the workshop leader.
