“The House that Jack Built” (SAW)

Description

Create a dyed and painted canvas to create a simplistic / naïve styled village scene.

Composition and proportion are discussed, as you applique your village onto the landscape. The image is finished with simple hand and machine stitches.

Level of Experience

The workshop would suit the beginner to intermediate in mixed media textiles.

Materials / Equipment required by Attendees

Materials will be provided.

Equipment:
You will need to bring a mixture of hand and machine threads that match and compliment your chosen fabric choices.

  • Scissors: – embroidery and fabric
  • Needles for hand sewing
  • Pins
  • Sewing Machine

If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.

Places on workshops are secured by a £10 cash deposit at the time of booking and balance payable on the day direct to the workshop leader.
