Beginners Monthly Quilt Block – Churn dash
Description
A monthly quilt block to master, keeping it simple as you are guided through sewing, cutting and construction to achieve the best results when piecing together a quilt block.
Within the session you should achieve one if not a couple of blocks. The session will also cover direction you may wish to take your sample – i.e. a place mat or a storage wrap or perhaps you are intending to piece together all your samples to make a future sample quilt….the possibilities are endless.

Materials
- 9 x 5”x5” squares – recommended is a colour coordinated charm pack which includes plains as well as a pattern.
- Suitable machine thread of a good quality.
Equipment
- General sewing box containing scissors, needles, pins.
- Optional Cutting blade & mat
- Sewing machine
If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.
