Want to make children’s clothes? Here is a simple dress that can be made in cotton or as a pinafore in needlecord or denim. Pattern from 6months –5 years will be supplied and there will be the chance for some applique or decorative stitching too.
What You Will Learn in this Workshop
We will use machine stitching skills including buttonhole making to construct this lovely little garment. You can then go on to use any decorative stitches on your machine to finish it off uniquely.
Level of Experience
- The class is suitable for the beginner.
Materials / Equipment required by Attendees
- You will need 0.5 –1 metre of fabric depending on size
- 0.25m for lining
- Basic sewing kit
- Matching thread
- 3 buttons
- Sewing machine
If you do not have a Sewing Machine, or don’t want to bring your own, you can use one of our latest Brother demonstration machines for the nominal fee of £3.00 per session.
